The Gold Medal Foal program is offered by Hannoveraner International, the organization for Hanoverian societies outside of Germany. This is an independent international award for high-quality foals. To be eligible for a Gold Medal, foals with a dressage pedigree require an unofficial score of 8.0 or higher when judged on type, conformation and basic gaits. Additionally, foals with a jumping pedigree require an unofficial score of 7.75 or higher when judged on type, conformation, basic gaits and quality of pedigree. The Gold Medal Foal program is not a foal competition. Judges will internally score foals at the inspection to determine top dressage foals and jumping foals, but those scores will not be recorded or given to foal owners.

We want to recognize all our Gold Medal foals by featuring them in the awards magazine. Send a digital high-resolution (minimum of 900 x 1200 pixels) digital photo in *tif, *eps, or *jpg format to . All professional photos must include the photographer's name and a release for publication.
