Vilancio is a striking, first-class stallion in an impressive dark chocolate chestnut coat. Always supple
with an irresistible look-at-me factor, Vilancio is 16.3h and possesses maximum balance in all three
gaits, an attribute that he demonstrates under saddle. Vilancio completed his 30-day test with the
key aspect on dressage with a total score of 9.23 (9.63 interior, 9.0 trot, 8.75 canter, 10 walk, 10
conformation and 9.25 rideability). His breeding history is mostly in Sweden (Flyinge Stud), with
at least three licensed sons in Germany with Vilanciano (dam by San Amour I, LB Warendorf),
Veuve Cliquot HS (dam by Stedinger) and Verlaine by Fidertanz. Vitalis has 33 licensed sons.
Vilancio’s dam’s sire, Lancet, participated at two Olympic games. In Athens in 2004, he finished
11th individually with Imke Schellekens-Bartels, and in 2008 in Hong Kong, he finished sixth
individually with Emma Hindle and second with the British team. In 2009, he once again earned
team silver at the European Championships in Windsor. Vilancio has had many premium and
Gold Medal foals since coming to North American. His son, Vitali (out of a Jazz Time mare), was
Fourth Level champion and Prix St. Georges reserve champion at 2023 USDF Dressage Nationals
in Kentucky with his AA owner/rider Bonnie Canter.
