Rascalino completed the dressage portion of his Adelheidsdorf performance test with the
knockout score of 153.37 and a jumping score of 103.56–making him the winner of the test with a
final score of 149.29. He scored a 10 for trot and 9.0s for canter, walk and rideability and 8.0s for
willingness and temperament. In fact, his respectable jumping score is probably a product of the
Wedekind/Ferdinand and Wendekreis/Ferdinand that’s in the background of the damsire, Velten
Third. A further performance component is added through paternal grandsire, Rubinstein I, a line
known for dressage excellence, but also with some talent at the jump. The sire of the second dam,
World Cup III, ensures dressage excellence. Rascalino is a beautiful, elegant stallion with the best
gaits and exceptional freedom of the shoulders, making his mark in modern dressage breeding
in the hoofprints of his famous sire and grandsire. Rascalinio is a proven breeding stallion with
15 licensed sons and 104 St.Pr. mares and ranks in the top 5% of the best dressage stallions in
Germany with a breeding value index of 149. Many of Rascalino's offspring produced here in the
U.S. end up as fancy hunters.
