O’Frederic’s pedigree is filled with Grand Prix talent–the first five stallions appearing in his pedigree competed through Grand Prix. O’Frederic’s sire, For Romance I, is a two-time Oldenburg champion stallion and Grand Prix competitor. For Romance is a well-decorated competition horse with highlights including Bundeschampionat qualifier, Burg-Pokal Finalist and VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year. He has more than 60 approved stallions and numerous premium mares to his credit. O’Frederic’s dam, Riana, is half sibling to the successful Grand Prix horse, Duke of Swing. Damsire, Fidertanz, is a Grand Prix competitor himself and has more than 400 offspring successful in sport, helping earn him the Hanoverian Stallion of the Year title in 2021 and a seventh place ranking on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking for 2022. Further back in his pedigree, we find De Niro who was reserve champion of his performance test with a score of 141.93. De Niro had a wonderful sport career with more than 24 wins at S-Level and has been consistently ranked at the top of the WBFSH Dressage Sire Rankings for many years. O’Frederic completed his KWPN stallion performance test in 2022, earning scores of 9.0 for walk and rideability. Additional highlights included 8.5s for canter and talent as a dressage horse and 8.0 for trot and elasticity. In 2023, he competed in the competitive PAVO Cup Finals. He’s a top choice for improving the walk and rideability with the arrival of his first foals in 2024.
