At his Trakehner licensing, Herzensdieb was awarded champion stallion. He was reserve champion of his 70-day test, scoring above champions from Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Westfalen and Holsteiner licensings. He won the Trakehner championship for 3-year-old stallions, qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old dressage horses, and then trained up to the Advanced Level. Sire, Tambour, won his stallion licensing and was highly successful in advanced level dressage and jumping. He became a successful sire, producing auction horses, Premium mares and successful sport horses. Herzensdieb’s dam, St.Pr./El.St. Herzensfreude, scored 9.11 at her mare performance test and was successful in dressage competition. This noted damline has produced several licensed stallions, successful dressage horses and highly awarded mares. With an FN breeding dressage value of 142 points, Herzensdieb is in the top 10% of German dressage sires and was awarded the prestigious Elite Hengst title by the Trakehner Verband. Herzensdieb stamps his offspring with his elegant type, friendly personality and exceptional rideability. Daughters, Heartbreaker, Harriet and Helmi, have won honors at German mare shows, and Elfenzauber qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old dressage horses. Licensed stallion, Herzenswunsch, was Southern Germany Champion, Horse of the Year and multiple Bundeschampionat finalist. Halley v.H and Hollywood L are successful Grand Prix competitors and Hannigan L at Prix St. Georges. Herzensdieb had the highest number of Gold Medal foals on the 2022 AHS inspection tour and had several highly praised Gold Medal and top foals, and Elite Mare Candidates during the 2023 tour.
