Dumont is a bright bay stallion with lots of chrome that he reliably passes to his offspring. He is by the
proven dressage sire, Diamont, who was ranked first as the leading producer of USDF Horse of the Year
qualifiers in 1994, 1996 and 1997. Dumont won the yearling classes at Osierlea and the West Coast
Classic, where he was named Champion Junior Stallion. He repeated these wins as a 2- and 3- year
old, earning the title Champion Stallion at the West Coast Sporthorse Classic (WCSC). As a 4-year-old,
Dumont won the Mature Horse Championship at the WCSC and the Northern California USDF Mature
Horse Championship in 1998. Dumont’s full sister, Donna Marie, won consistently at Intermediare
dressage classes in Germany, with scores in the high 70s and 80s. She was Reserve Champion at the 2003
Intermediare Championship in Hanover. Dumont was successfully shown in the dressage ring, winning
a number of classes with scores in the 70s. Dumont was also shown briefly in the hunter ring on the
“A” circuit, with placings in some very large classes, showing beautiful classic hunter form over fences.
Dumont’s offspring have excelled in the dressage ring with numerous wins at recognized competitions,
winning numerous high score awards, placings at regional championships and year-end breed award
placings. His offspring have proven to be very competitive for both professional and amateur riders.
He has also had several daughters approved for breeding and performance tested, winning high score
awards for rideability and jumping. Dumont crosses very well with Thoroughbred, as well as warmblood
mares. He passes his wonderful disposition, high rideability and excellent work ethic to his offspring.
