Anke Ott Young
This charming, black stallion is the perfect fit for breeders seeking a beautiful modern type, light-footed
movement, and excellent trainability. Bred in the US by Avalon Farm, Fürst was exported to Germany as
a young prospect and completed his 50-day test where he earned highlight scores of 9.0 for character
and 8.5 for his willingness to work. Upon returning to the US, Fürst was paired with Jannike Gray for a
memorable 2022 show season earning sixth in the USDF Region 8 Fourth Level Championship and capturing the Stallion Championship for the USDFBC New England Series Finals with a score over 80%. Partnered with Brittany Stanley in 2024, Fürst brought home top ribbons at Fourth Level and Prix St. Georges. Fürst’s sire, Fürstenball, is for the excellent type, rideability and outstanding walk that he gives his offspring. Fürstenball has more than 90 approved sons and is currently ranked 14th on the WBFSH Dressage Sire rankings. Fürst’s dam, Etched in Black, has been exceptionally successful showing in-hand, earning the title of USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding 4-Year-Old and Older Broodmare Horse of the Year and USDF North East Series Mare Champion in 2023. Her sire, Gribaldi, was a Grand Prix competitor who has also proven himself as a sire of top International competitors, including the legendary Totilas. From Fürst Gribaldi’s early foal crops, we have already seen Premium Foals and four USDF Breeders Championship Series Reserve Champions. He consistently stamps his beautiful type, refinement and kind character.
