Fürst Gribaldi is a charming, young stallion whose career has quickly progressed to the FEI ring and really impressed with his first foals. Bred in the U.S. by Avalon Farm, Fürst was exported to Germany as a young prospect and completed his 50-day test in Germany, earning highlight scores of 9.0 for character and 8.5 for willingness to work. Now back in the U.S., Fürst’s show career started strongly under Jannike Gray. In 2022, he placed sixth at Fourth Level in the USDF Region 8 Championships, made his Prix St. Georges debut and captured the stallion championship for the USDF Breeders Championship Series in New England with a score over 80%. Fürst’s sire, Fürstenball, is well-known for the excellent type and outstanding walk that he gives his offspring. Fürstenball’s influence as a sire is felt strongly with more than 90 approved sons and is currently ranked 12th on the WBFSH Dressage Sire rankings. Fürst’s dam, Etched in Black, has been exceptionally successful showing in-hand, earning the title of USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding 4-year-old and Older Broodmare Horse of the Year and USDF North East Series Mare Champion in 2023. Her sire, Gribaldi, was a Grand Prix competitor who has also proven himself as a sire of top international competitors, including the legendary Totilas. From Fürst Gribaldi’s first small foal crop, we’ve already seen Premium foals and two USDF Breeders Championship Series reserve champions. His early foals show Fürst’s beautiful type, refinement and kind character.
