First Dance was acclaimed at his 2006 Hanoverian licensing in Verden because of perfectly cadenced rhythm and powerful movement. He placed in the 2009 Bundeschampionat for young dressage horses and won many young horse dressage classes, then competing successfully at Prix St. Georges. He earned Elite stallion status based on his 30-day test scores (walk 9.0, rideability 8.75 and 8.5 character, constitution, trot, and canter), combined with his high placing at the Bundeschampionat. His sire, Florestan I, produced 70+ licensed sons and 180+ States Premium mares, including Floriano, ridden to a U.S. bronze medal with Steffen Peters. First Dance’s dam, SPS Dorina, won the 1A prize from 2003-2006 at the Aurich-Tannenhausen mare show. She also produced a second licensed stallion–a full brother to First Dance. Damsire, Donnerhall, is a legend: twice World Champion in dressage, producing 100+ licensed sons and many successful offspring. With an FN dressage breeding evaluation score of 140 points, First Dance has produced Verden auction foals and riding horses, States Premium mares and licensed sons. First Dance passes on floating movement and rideability. Fleur de Lis L, with young rider, Vanessa Creech-Terauds, had high placements at Grand Prix, and was part of the Canadian team at the Global Dressage Festival and USDF champion All Breed Hanoverian at Intermediare II in 2022. First Crusader won at the 2020 USDF Breeders Championship. Foreign Prince HU was a breed show champion as a yearling, and Flash Point HU won Materiale and USDF Dressage Prospect championships.
