Fairbanks, fully approved by AHS and HV in 2023, was champion of the 2009 Oldenburg Stallion
Licensing in Vechta, Germany. He became the crowd favorite with his spectacular performance,
extravagant gaits, impressive jumping ability and willing temperament. Fairbanks completed his
30-day Test, placing third of 49 stallions with an overall score of 8.74. He repeated this success in
2011 at his 70-day Test as the only stallion to score over 100 in both jumping and dressage. His sire
Flemmingh, a successful dressage stallion in the Netherlands, sired international dressage horses,
Krack C and Lingh. Fairbanks’ dam, SPS Identify, was highly praised at her mare performance test.
Damsire Inselfürst won his stallion test and successfully showed in Advanced Level dressage. In
2011, Fairbanks’ first foal crop in German represented himself: large, expressive foals with long lines,
beautiful heads and necks, and outstanding movement. Fairbanks was awarded Premium due to his
exceptional stallion test results, impressive foals and overall development as a top breeding stallion.
This was remarkable as he was not breeding in the main Oldenburg region and had to stand up to
strong competition for this award. He has sired many Elite/Premium foals: Flair Royal was twice
French Young Horse Champion and hunter Fairly Luminescent was a Premium foal and site champion
of a large Westfalen inspection. Imported to the U.S. in 2017, Fairbanks has rejuvenated interest in
breeding versatile sport horses, producing a modern type and wonderful temperament for dressage,
hunter and eventing.
