Jorg van Olst
The first KWPN approved son by the two time World Champion Kjento! Pjethro’s sire Kjento has been in the spotlight from a young age with numerous accolades along the way, including KWPN Stallion Test Champion, Reserve Champion PAVO Cup finish, and World Young Horse Champion as both a 6-year old and 7-year old. With a recent debut at Prix St. Georges, Kjento continues to show great talent for the future.
Pjethro’s dam is by the popular sire Desperado who has been a successful competition horse from the FEI Young Horse classes through Grand Prix, with numerous FEI competitors and licensed sons to his credit including the popular Ibiza. The influence of Pjethro’s damline foreshadows great talent for sport. Pjethro’s granddam, by Houston, has produced multiple FEI level horses, two international Grand Prix horses, and the licensed stallion Valeron.
Pjethro completed his KWPN Stallion Test in 2023, earning no score less than 8.5. Particular highlights for Pjethro included scores of 9.0 for trot, posture and balance, and rideability. The KWPN recommends Pjethro to breeders looking to improve mechanics of the gaits, balance, and work ethic. With the Van Olst team behind Pjethro, we look forward to his development in both breeding and sport.
