Largo was honored as Horse of the Year in the Netherlands in 1979 and the Pacific Coast Horse Association Horse of the Year in 1985. He was the AGA top moneywinning stallion in America in 1985 and 1986. Largo is a proven sire of world-class sport horses including Mirage, the 1992 NGPL Horse of the Year, winner of the $100,000 Queen Elizabeth II Cup and the $30,000 Grand Prix of Denver. Largo’s daughter, Silhouette, was a FEI Nations Cup bronze medalist on the 1994 Canadian Equestrian Team and winner of the Victoria Grand Prix and the $30,000 Thunderbird Grand Prix. Another daughter, Liebchen Mein, earned her Elite mare title in 1997 scoring an 8.0 on the jumping portion of the mare performance test.
