2017 marked the first year the AHS presented an award for the Overall Champion Hunter, recognizing the Hanoverian horse that earned the highest placing in its USEF Hunter division standings.
Bent Hickory Farm generously is sponsoring this award, known as the Premonition BHF Perpetual Hunter Trophy. It is named in honor of their exceptional homebred mare, Premonition BHF (Pablo – SPS Galaxis/Ganymed), who was the inaugural winner, ridden by Jordan Toering. That same year, Premonition distinguished herself even further—she was the top‑placing Junior Hunter (Rider 16–17) in the country with USEF, finishing first nationally in her division.
