Salvino’s rise to the top of sport started in the FEI Young Horse competitions, earning top placings
in the 5 and 6-year-old classes with scores as high as 83%. After his importation, Salvino was paired
with Adrienne Lyle who brought the stallion to great success competing Grand Prix internationally.
His unmatched performance record includes representing the US at the World Cup Finals, finishing
6th individually at the 2022 World Equestrian Games in both the Grand Prix and the Freestyle,
and earning a Team Silver Medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Salvino has also been the US Equestrian’s
International Horse of the Year. Salvino’s sire, Sandro Hit, is one of the most influential sires of
dressage breeding with more than 200 S-Level competitors, 190 approved sons, and 300 premium
mares. Sandro Hit has maintained a top 10 position on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Rankings for the
last ten years–with no less than 10 Olympic competitors to his record. Damsire, Donnerhall, is
another exceptional producer for dressage with more than 100 Grand Prix competitors and 120
licensed sons. The combination of Sandro Hit and Donnerhall has proven to be an exceptionally
successful breeding nick. Salvino’s first foals arrived in 2025 and show his beautiful type, refinement,
and gaits. From his first foal crop, Sazerac CF was the USDF East Coast Breeder Series Foal Reserve
Champion with an impressive score of 82%. With his exceptional performance record and proven
pedigree, we feel Salvino is a wonderful asset to breeders in North America.
