Goldjunge, a stunning palomino pony stallion, was bred by Heiner Rohmann in Germany. He is the
son of the famous Bundeschampion, Golden West (now standing in Australia), and his damsire
is the legendary pony jumping stallion, Oösteinds Ricky. Goldjunge was licensed as a stallion
and competed successfully in Germany. Purchased in December 2022 by Heidi Humphrey after
competing successfully at the L level, Goldjunge was imported to Ashland Farm in Canada. He
competed in the summer of 2023 in Canada, earning First and Second Level scores consistently
over 70%. He has impressed many with his easygoing nature and wonderful movement. Goldjunge
enjoys giving pony rides to children and loves to jump!
After only being in the U.S. for two weeks, Goldjunge won Pony Grand Champion and USDFBC
North East Champion Stallion Champion at the 2023 NEDA Breed Show III with very positive
comments from the judges. Goldjunge then went on to Devon where he was the 2023 Pony
Stallion Champion, Mature Pony Champion, and Pony Grand Champion.
In 2024, he was Second Level Highpoint at GMHA Dressage Days I and II. In 2025, Goldjunge
received his permanent pony card and competed successfully at Third Level, scoring into the 70s
and winning all his performance classes. Judges admired his "masculinity" as well as his rideability
and calm demeanor.
