Fourteen WH is a second-generation homebred stallion proudly bred and developed by
Whitehedge Farm. A striking young stallion, he is distinguished by his exceptional temperament,
trainability and willingness to work. His dam Azul WH, by the influential hunter sire, Cabalito,
was successful in national hunter derbies and has three siblings with multiple championships in
both hunter and jumper divisions. His granddam, Athletica 14, namesake of the stallion, was a
top international jumper with more than 50 wins at 1.50m in Germany. Fourteen WH, known as
“Hugh,” began his breeding career at just three years old, while also achieving notable success
in both in-hand and under-saddle competitions. As a 3-year-old, Hugh was licensed with the
Oldenburg Verband, was the High Point 3-year-old in the Sally Wheeler Central Hunter Breeding
Finals where he was judged in conformation, under-saddle and hunter hack classes, and was the
winner in the $7,500 3- and 4-year-old Hunter Freestyle in Texas. As a 4-year-old, he was third in
the Sally Wheeler Hunter hack and was the NAAST East Coast and National High Point 4-year-old
jumper stallion with an overall score of 8.28. In 2025, two of his foals were presented with one
earning Premium and one Elite with GOV.
