Hanoverian stallion, Worthy Opponent, is successful through advanced level eventing. He produces
versatile offspring, successfully competing in dressage through Intermediare I and FEI events. Worthy
Opponent was reserve champion of his 100-day stallion test, receiving comments on his incredible
elasticity, adjustability and rideability. He scored an impressive 135.2 overall, with five 9.0s for
character, temperament, canter, jumping and ability to work, earning him the high-scoring Hanoverian
award and winner of the jumping portion. His owner successfully evented him through advanced
level, earning the AHS Horse of the Year at Preliminary-Intermediate Level four times (2010-2014).
Worthy Opponent’s sire, Waikiki (Weltmeyer), was third of 33 in his stallion test with 143.08 for
dressage–father and son share great talent and versatility. Dam, granddam and great granddam were
all States Premium mares. Dam, Hoheit, earned her Premium title at the young age of 4, earning 9.0s
in rideability and jumping. Hoheit is by Hohenstein, Trakehner Stallion of the Year, a refining stallion
known for improving type and rideability. He was stallion test champion and successful to Grand Prix.
Hoheits’ damsire is Archipel, known for outstanding type and ridability. Worthy Opponent’s multiple
Premium foals and site champions show he passes on amazing necks in length and arch, strong
toplines and amazing movement. Successful offspring include 4* eventer, Whiskey Up, out of a Lavita
dam; Worthy Aspirations (out of a Don Frederico dam) who competed at Prix St. Georges; Wred Baron,
