Verden Licensing of Dressage Stallions Begins

Verden. Finally, the time has come. The best two-and-a-half-year-old dressage stallions from Hannover and the Rhineland will meet in Verden starting tomorrow. 61 exquisite future hopefuls will compete for the coveted positive licensing result on the grounds of the Hannoveraner Verband. The awarding of premiums on Saturday will be exciting before the stallion sales will provide great excitement. The licensing will be broadcast live on on three days.

The pedigree of the dressage stallions is more varied than ever before. Top current sires meet proven Hannoveraner dam lines, which have often produced Olympic and World Champions. On Thursday, November 4, the stallion candidates will move into their stalls in Verden. From 2 p.m. CET, they will present themselves at the free jumping. In the atmospheric ambiance of the Verden triangle, the young stallions will attract the attention of spectators from all over the world from 9 a.m. CET on Friday, before they are presented on the lunge in the Niedersachsenhalle from 2 p.m. CET onwards.

The highlight is on Saturday. After the free presentation of the young stallions, which starts at 8 a.m. CET, the licensing and awarding of the bright future hopes will take place, which, like the presentations on the previous days, can be followed live on the internet. In addition to the premium stallions, a well-kept secret will be revealed in the attractive show program: Who will be the Hannoveraner Stallion of the Year 2021? The stallion sales start at 4 p.m. CET with the auction of the licensed and unlicensed stallions. Many a spectacular international career began with the final bid in the Niedersachsenhalle.

For the first time, the Hannoveraner Verband is organizing two licensings for young stallions. The showjumping stallions will compete in the Niedersachsenhalle from December 2 to 4.
