Verden. With an overwhelming majority, the delegates and voting members of the board have decided on the structural reform of the Hannoveraner Verband. Over 90 percent of those present were in favor of the corresponding revision of the statutes.
The Hannoveraner breeders and the Hannoveraner horse are in the foreground of interest in the planned structural reform. The goal is the broad participation of the breeders in the decision-making processes of the Hannoveraner Verband. Specific expertise will be integrated into the various committees. The delegate system shall be deliberately retained. Responsibilities will be clearly assigned. The six-member Presidium and the newly created Supervisory Board, which will consist of five persons, will be elected by the Assembly of Delegates. The decision was preceded by intensive and constructive discussions, which have already been held at the district association level since November. As a result, suggestions from breeders have been taken into account for the draft statutes.
Hans Henning von der Decken, Chairman of the Hannoveraner Verband, thanked the structural commission for their goal-oriented work. At the Assembly of Delegates on April 27th, elections for the committees will be held. An election commission has been appointed for this purpose. Until the final registration of the statutes, the current board will remain in office.
