Riding Horses and Foals at the Verden Auction in April

Verden. An exquisite selection of sport horses and foals belongs to the Verden Auction collection in the Niedersachsenhalle on April 17 and 18. A total of 92 riding horses ask for spring shopping. Before the first horse enters the auction arena on Saturday at 2 pm, the Hannoveraner Verband invites to the Verden Evening on Friday starting at 7 pm. Under the motto "Home is a feeling" auction horses and their sires will be presented.

63 dressage and 29 show jumping horses are part of the auction lot. From promising youngsters for show jumping, dressage and cross-country to the matured and success spoiled sport partner, there is a horse for everyone at the Verden Auction. The riding horses are joined by a small but fine collection of high-quality foals – the first chance to buy foals at the Hannoveraner Verband in 2020.

From April 7 to 18, the auction candidates will be shown in the Verden Niedersachsenhalle in free training or at the special presentations and will be available for potential buyers to try out after consultation with the customer advisors. The special presentation of the showjumping horses (2 pm) and the dressage horses (5 pm) on Wednesday, April 15, will also be broadcasted on hannoveraner.com. The foal collection will be presented on the day of the auction Saturday, April 18, starting at 10 am in the Niedersachsenhalle and can also be followed in the live stream. Head number 1 will then enter the auction ring punctually at 2 pm. Following head number 51, the foals will be auctioned in the middle of the riding horses.

On Friday, April 17, stallions, auction horses, buyers, breeders and friends of the Hannoveraner will meet from 7 pm on in the Niedersachsenhalle for the "Verdener Abend". Then the motto will be once again: "Home is a feeling". The Grande Prize will also be awarded in this festive setting. The Hannoveraner Verband awards this prize to a stallion who, with his first offspring under saddle, has given rise to hope to positively shape the Hannoveraner breed.
