Verden. The third 2017 sales event of the Hannoveraner Verband will be held on Saturday, May 6 in Verden. The auction will start at 2:00 pm just like with the auction in March. An interesting background program will complement the collection of brilliant dressage, show jumping and pleasure horses.
The Verden May Auction provides a well-balanced, exquisite collection of dressage, show jumping and pleasure horses. 31 dressage horses and 14 jumpers will be put up for auction. The number one of the auction is a special recommendation: the black stallion Figaro by Fürstenball/Sir Donnerhall, bred by Bernhard Sieverding from Twistringen. The gorgeous Figaro with the elastic basic gaits will be presented by his breeder. Hanoverian state premium candidate Donaugirl will be the number 10 of the collection. The Donautanz/Jazz-daughter already won elementary level dressage horse ability competitions and will also be presented by her breeder, Michael Schenk from Niendorf. His son Jacob already successfully participated with the six-year-old mare at tournaments. The collection features many horses with an all-round talent, for example number three, Van Damme by Viscount/Provider (breeder and exhibitor: Hartmut Struß, Elze) or number 40, Dimitri by Decurio/Desirao xx (breeder and exhibitor: Johann Littel, Hettenshausen). The collection of riding horses is complemented by an attractive assortment of foals.
An interesting specialty introduces the Verden auction in May: a clinic, focused on show jumping. Instructor Thomas Schönig will provide tips and tricks for riders of all age-groups and training levels on April 21/22. Another specialty will be the seminar “Behind the scenes of the Verden auctions”. Interested breeders, exhibitors and customers will have the opportunity to watch and observe the work of auction riders, grooms and the auctioneers.
The horses will arrive in Verden on Monday, April 24. The opening presentation of all show jumping, dressage and pleasure horses will follow on Saturday, April 29. The foals will be shown the first time on Friday, May 5, as of 6:00 pm. They will be presented in the Niedersachsenhalle on the day of the auction as of 10:30 am and put up for auction in two groups after riding horse no. 16 and no. 28. The auction will start on Saturday as of 02:00 pm.
