From the incredible Elfen/Abita damline, First Frost offers much promise as both a sport horse and a future broodmare. Her 1/2 sister was the 2021 Reserve National Champion for the FEI Five-Year old division. Frosty is an engaging, intelligent young mare who thrives on attention. She is developing well and we’re excited to see her undersaddle next year.
Her sire Fürst Belagio FOD (Fürst Belissaro-Rotspon) combines some of the most popular lines in dressage breeding in his pedigree with names such as Fürstenball, Belissimo M, and Rubinstein anchoring his genetics. A wonderful, modern type with excellent rideability is anticipated with these lines.
Dam Raureif (Ramiro’s Bube-DeNiro) is an exceptional producer who has produced numerous Site Champion/Gold Medal foals and the USEF Young Horse Reserve Champion. Her offspring inherit her fantastic paces, size, and character. Raureif goes back to the esteemed Abita/Elfen damline as does the Grand Prix mare Elfenfeuer and the approved stallion Bernstein SL.
First Frost is registered with the American Hanoverian Society. She’s was born and raised at Hilltop Farm so we know her well. This lovely young filly offers so much potential for sport and breeding – we hope to find a home where she can be used for both in the future.
