Photo Submission Guide

Photos that are submitted to the American Hanoverian Society (AHS) for use in its publications or on its website should meet the following requirements:

Photo may be submitted as a glossy print or a high-resolution (300 dpi or 1500 x 2100 pixels or greater) JPEG or TIFF digital file on CD or DVD, or by sending it via email to photos@hanoverian.org (will be forwarded to both the magazine and web editors). For stallion photos submitted for the AHS Breeders’ Guide, Stallion Book and Mare Book horizontal photos are required, conformation shots are strongly encouraged. An 8″ x 10″ photo is ideal, minimum size accepted is 5″ x 7″. All professional photographs must include an advertising release from the photographer.

If mailing photos or a disc to the address below, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your items returned.
